Envisioned Games

Envisioned Games was created and is run by a single person: Devin Eastmond. He began learning how to use the Unity game engine on his own when he was just thirteen years old. From that time he started experimenting with Unity using the JavaScript programming language as well as other software, including Blender- a 3D modeling program, Gimp- an image editing program, and Audacity- an audio editing program.

After several years of familiarizing himself with these programs, Devin felt ready to begin work on his first full video game. Shattered, inspired by Mark Hadley's Slender: The Eight Pages, was begun in April of 2014. While many of the models, textures, and sounds were created with the help of online sources, all of the programming and design were done by a single person (with the help of various suggestions from family and friends).

One of the primary reasons for the creation of Envisioned Games came as Devin noticed a shortage of a specific type of game he was searching to play. He wanted to play games that not only had fantastic graphics, engaging storyline, and enjoyable gameplay, but, most importantly, contained clean content as well. In this context "clean" will be defined as games that are free from any vulgar, sexual, or otherwise suggestive material and do not display excessive amounts of blood or violence. While there are a surplus of games today that fulfill Devin's wishes of outstanding graphics, storyline, and gameplay, very few have showed the same standard of morality that he has been searching for.

"It is the strict policy of Envisioned Games that all games produced must strictly avoid any vulgarity, sexual/suggestive themes, and excessive amounts of violence and blood," states Devin Eastmond. "I am sure that there are others out there like me, that desire to play quality games but do not want to deal with the immorality that is becoming increasingly present in the video game world today. It is my hope that Envisioned Games will be able to fulfill their wishes."
